Sherlock Park Water Issue

The next phase of treatment to the Sherlock Park water body will commence shortly. As per consultant’s recommendations, application of topical bio-treatment will be installed from Wednesday 7th March 2018 as part of a two month trial. The bio-treatment is a non-toxic treatment in the form of pellets and powder: “a blend of bio-stimulants, vitamins, probiotics and selected cultures of safe, beneficial bacteria. They contain no harsh chemicals, are environmentally safe and will not harm aquatic species, fish, waterfowl, or people.” The pellets and powder will be applied fortnightly by the City of Swan Parks crew and the water will be monitored to document application results.

A temporary water tank will be installed shortly so that we can continue to water Sherlock and Huntsman Parks until the quality of the water body improves.
