The City of Swan recently adopted the Draft Cycle Network Plan. The objective was to provide a ‘program to develop a cycling network that seeks to maximise safety and connectivity as well as the ability to attract funding for the construction of the cycling network’. Priority Project A (Map TR-PJ2) will cover the path network from Midland to Stratton. A secondary route has been scheduled for construction along Talbot Road in Jane Brook (Map TR-RH4). Timing of the commencement of the project and the section of the network connecting Jane Brook is yet to be confirmed.
